The roof angles are such that it’s difficult to photograph this roof from anywhere!!

It appears that where the soffits were not ventilated, which happens in pockets, the timbers have rotted. So there is going to have to be some maintenance of those.

Also it would appear that in the 1970s, you didn’t have to put diagonal braces between the trusses, …. only simple horizontal/parallelogram braces. Not stable obviously, so we are going to put some diagonals in.

They drop them the last few feet into the skip, as breaking them up means you get more tiles per skip !!!
