I think too I saw them putting another membrane layer on top before the battens.
They reported today too that the cladding team who did the north cladding broke over 30 new roof tiles in the process. John was very annoyed by that. He has replaced them all I think, but to his annoyance we spotted one more crack just outside the window of bedroom 2
… and has these fabulous LED strip lights switched on by a movement sensor – woo!! Note separate 40amp fuse box on the wall for charging electric cars. And two inspection hatches in the ceiling. I’ve never had a garage with a ceiling before (insulated!) and I’m actually going to have a garage I can hoover!!
The airing cupboard is the one third size cupboard on the left of the photo …. door size will be 533mm on the airing cupboard and 1066mm on the wardrobe. This is all situated in the dressing room off “R’s bedroom”.

There are a lot of very attractive lights for patios now, but a huge proportion of them have integrated LED bulbs – so when the bulb finally blows, you have to replace the whole light. So the chosen direction will be a stainless steel lamp with replace-able LED bulbs. (see final photo below)
