Rain is expected later today so a temporary roof has been erected over the hobby room roof to allow flat roof covering first layer to progress. Both flat roofs will have their final layers installed after cladding has been fixed to the house walls to avoid damage to the final surfaces.
Plasterer arrived tomorrow. On site staff are aware of the plaster cracks on the east walls. I will look in first thing. Mid morning tomorrow (Thursday) we have to go to Essex to meet some friends. We will be home around 6pm. Apart from Waitrose I will be around Friday. Catherine is in all day. Not sure of your arrival time in London. Have a good flight.

Yesterday was dry so first layer of dining room flat roof was laid. The drainage outlet can be seen on the north side expelling onto the sloping tiles into the main gutter. The same arrangement will be installed at the north side of the hobby room roof.

Tiling of new roof continues. Much better doing it on a dry day like today.

Ceiling/loft insulation now on site and loft floor panels being installed.

Early morning delivery of plaster board

Soil pipe for new bathrooms in place. Some scaffolding being adjusted for access to windows. Plumber and electrician continuing, as is roof tiling. Loft boarding and upstairs plastering about to start.

Installation of bathroom soil pipes has started.
