This is the new router area of the “plant cupboard”. Router mounted neatly on wall with two cables going up to the study for the MESH network. The square box beneath the router is the Velux controller.

We have a drop of three brick courses plus a bit from the front door threshold down to the driveway surface. It’ll mean two steps – and here is a sample nearby dealing with the size size challenge. It could be a model for what we need and blend in with the porch ideas.

Slot drains very clever – drain into the soaraway via junctions of the roof drains
Slot drains are going in
In order that we can get the patio and path levels right up close to “level threshold” we have to fit these rather clever “slot drains” against the house walls, just below DPC level. The idea that any water run-off gathering there drops down the slot and is carried away. It’ll be interesting to watch those go in.
The new surface water drains are laid and functioning underneath that puddle, so that is just what fell overnight….
