This is just a little tease for the direction that the bathroom planning is taking

This was a very surprising visit to a shop recommended by many. Really good stock, but you quickly see the fashion towards HUGE tiles which doesn’t suit our little shower rooms… The other thing is that little window tiles as feature tiles are a lot more rare at the moment – but they had some!!
We are pretty keen on the grey and white part of the colour spectrum.
Here is the series of tiles and feature tile that we liked most today. Marble-sih white and a pleasant feature window in keeping with our other two bathrooms.

We would probably go for a non-gloss (safety) dark or mid grey tile floor. 60×30 tiles are the fashion for floors certainly, which is what I think is in the family bathroom floor already.
Other stuff that got us thinking follows

below is a feature wall our daughter might like!!

….
Did a visit to Naos Tiles of Tonbridge today. Learned a lot. They had some lovely product there, but mostly £50-£60 p sq m in price.
Looked a lot at a range called EC1. The approach was so different :-

I could not get out into the space (no floor) to check the distance from the south wall to the window of bathroom 3 (north one) – which turns out to be critical for the bathroom designer.
You can get a first estimate though by counting the blocks : It’s approx six and a half blocks along from south wall – but need much more accuracy than that…..
A block with one layer of mortar is 45cms, so 6.5 blocks would be 2925mm ….. but allow for finish of south wall, plus stud wall, plus two finishes …..
